An easy-drinking Wolftrap Red, light Rhone-style red blend. A blend of Shiraz, with added Mourvédre and Viognier, gives this wine a concentrated red colour with a touch of purple. Fruity aromas on the nose of black fruits and black and red berries. The palate is smooth with a further fruitiness present, expressed as cherries and wild strawberries.
The Wolftrap Red is a French oak-matured and well-balanced spicy red that offers an accessible taste of the Swartland terroir.

- Aromas: Ripe black fruits like blackberries and plums, violets, and a spicy profile with notes of pepper, cloves, and cardamom. Some vintages may also have hints of smoke, cured meat, and earthy tones.
- Palate: A bold and plush palate with flavors of dark plums, black cherries, and licorice. The touch of Viognier adds a subtle floral lift. It has a velvety, brooding mid-palate with balanced acidity and a smooth, round finish.
