Trizanne Barnard crafted the Trizanne Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2017. This wine is a superb blend of 52% Semillon and 48% Sauvignon Blanc. It comes from the cool climate of Elim. Winemakers whole-bunch pressed the different parcels. They fermented the wine in old French oak barrels.
The Trizanne Reserve Sauvignon Blanc Semillon vintage shows remarkable complexity and aging potential. Its maturity has brought out incredible depth. Tim Atkin MW recognized this with a strong score.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, it offers rich aromatics. You will find notes of lime, fresh pear, and winter melon. There are also hints of hazelnuts and herbs. The palate shows this intensity. Flavors of fruit, spice, and minerality are well integrated. It is a luxurious and finely detailed wine. The savory finish is elegant and noticeable.
