Macallan uses a careful selection of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks. This maturation creates a rich, dark profile. The whisky achieves a colour described as ‘Crema’. This unique profile provides a delightful whisky and coffee pairing experience. The packaging is made partly from recycled cascara (coffee bean husks). This shows Macallan’s commitment to sustainability.
The nose is complex. You will find notes of tiramisu, cappuccino, and gingerbread. Sweet oak, vanilla, and almonds also appear. The palate delivers bold flavours.
