Crafted at Waterval farm in the Swartland region, The Blacksmith The Flash Series Red 750ml blends equal parts Tinta Barocca and Touriga Nacional. These iconic grape varieties deliver a robust, deeply satisfying flavor profile. Winemakers naturally cold-ferment completely de-stemmed grapes with 7 to 10 days of skin contact. Daily five-minute pump-overs gently extract optimal color, structure, and character. Expect vibrant notes of ripe plum, spice, purple flowers, blackberry, cherry, and blueberry on the palate. Seven months in old French oak barrels adds seamless polish to this expressive release.
