This specific vintage comes entirely from a precious 2.1-hectare block of old bush vines. Growers planted these dryland bush vines on the highest, most granitic slopes of the Paardeberg in the late 1960s. On the nose, you will find bright lime zest, green apple, white peach, and fresh wild herbs. The mineral-driven palate delivers incredible tension, a racy line of acidity, and a distinct chalky finish. Donovan fermented the hand-picked grapes naturally in concrete eggs to maximize texture and maintain absolute purity.
