The pH Palomino 750ml is an exceptional South African white wine. It highlights the potential of the historically overlooked Palomino grape. Winemakers Hanneke Krüger and Pauline Roux source fruit from an old-vine Piekenierskloof vineyard. This high-altitude, dry-farmed site, planted in 1968 or 1974, is on Table Mountain sandstone. The result is a savory, textural, and distinctly South African wine.

The nose offers soft aromas of yellow fruit, citrus peel, and a trace of potpourri. It also has a distinct, appealing nuttiness. The palate is fresh, light-to-medium bodied, and gracefully structured. Flavors of apricot, pear, and lemon curd dominate. Its key characteristic is the long, memorable salty finish.
