Secure the exceptional Mullineux Granite Chenin Blanc 2022 750ml. This single-terroir wine comes from 46-year-old Chenin Blanc bush vines. The vines grow in the decomposed granite soils of the Paardeberg mountain. Winemakers Chris and Andrea Mullineux designed this bottling to express the granite terroir’s elegant, mineral signature. They noted the 2022 growing season as long and cool with no extreme weather. This led to a classic Swartland vintage of great freshness.
- Tim Atkin MW awarded the 2022 vintage an outstanding 95 Points.

- James Suckling also rated it highly with 94 Points, noting its “crushed stone aromas.”
- Critics widely praise its 20-year aging potential.
Winemakers hand-harvested the grapes early in the morning. They whole-bunch pressed the fruit directly to barrel. The team handled the juice oxidatively to ensure maximum longevity. Spontaneous, natural fermentation occurred with indigenous yeasts. The wine matured for 11 months in 4th-fill French oak barrels on its lees. This process built texture without overpowering the fruit. The 2022 vintage offers upfront aromas of citrus blossom, summer fynbos, and hints of green tea. The palate is focused and linear. It shows a mineral core, pithy texture, and vibrant acidity.
