Winemakers hand-pick the 100% Pinot Noir grapes. About 20% of the fruit undergoes whole-bunch fermentation. This adds spice and structure. Kara-Tara Pinot Noir matures in French oak barrels. Only 10% of this oak is new, preserving the bright fruit character. The wine offers a translucent garnet colour. The nose has uplifting aromas of strawberry, cherry, and clove. The palate is light to medium-bodied. It delivers soft tannins, balanced acidity, and a smooth, persistent finish.
