The Jordan Assyrtiko 2025 is a single-varietal white wine. Jordan Wine Estate established the first mother block of this ancient Greek variety in South Africa. The vines grow on dry, windy, north-facing Stellenbosch slopes. This unique site overlooks the sea.
You will find a pure, aromatic profile; it is minerally rather than floral. The wine shows concentrated citrus peel and green, crunchy stone fruit. Steely acidity strongly drives the palate. Flinty notes offer an intense mouthfeel. A distinctive mineral salinity defines the bright, savoury finish.
The Jordan Assyrtiko 2025 is a very limited release.
