This wine displays a striking bronze-pink/pale apricot hue. It is made like a red wine, with skin contact, resulting in a complex “orange wine” style. The nose offers aromas of apricot, orange zest, and dried herbs. You notice a beautiful potpourri-like spice. The palate is intricate and unshowy.
It shows a lean, tightly wound structure with great length. Two weeks of skin contact imparted a fine, tea-like tannin grip. The wine then matured in stainless steel tanks on its gross lees.
