Baleia Sauvignon Blanc offers a refreshing, food-driven profile, perfectly expressing the unique terroir of the Lower Duivenhoks River area. The vines grow in pure limestone soil, which results in a wine with remarkable texture and minerality. Grapes are meticulously selected from this remote corner of the Cape South Coast, lending the wine its singular character and depth of flavor. This wine presents a beautiful white gold hue in the glass.

The nose reflects classic aromas of elderberry flower and green fig. Subtle notes of tropical fruits, elderflower, and ripe pear are also present. The rich, well-balanced palate delivers delightful flavors of crisp green litchi, apple, guava, and grapefruit. A striking presence of zesty minerality accompanies the fruit.
