Rocking Horse is their cornerstone wine, named after a wooden rocking horse they crafted for their daughters from old oak barrel staves. This is their signature blend, bringing together all their work to showcase their vision for a true Cape White blend.

The 2023 vintage is a wine of layers and tension, composed from a selection of meticulously chosen vineyard sites across the Western Cape. On the nose, you’ll find aromas of flint, peach, and jasmine. The palate follows with gentle tropical notes, vanilla, and yuzu, leading to a beautifully tightly coiled finish.

Roussanne (30%): From 14-year-old vines in Stellenbosch/Paardeberg, grown on decomposed granite/clay.

Chenin Blanc (28%): Sourced from 44-year-old vines in Paardeberg (decomposed granite) and 40-year-old vines in Malmesbury (iron-rich soils).

Chardonnay (20%): From 10-year-old vines on the Ceres Plateau, with sandstone over clay soils.

Semillon Blanc (15%): A blend from 60 and 14-year-old vines in Swartland, grown on alluvial soils.

Clairette Blanche (7%): From 45-year-old vines in Worcester, on alluvial soils.
