The Melck’s Blended Red is composed of 46% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Shiraz. The grapes were hand-harvested and vinified in a combination of stainless steel tanks and open fermenters. The wine was elegantly aged for 16 months in second and third fill French oak barrels.
