Bordeaux Blend
Red wines blended using several grape varieties traditionally from the Bordeaux region of France, although grown globally today. Famous for classic blends using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec grapes. These blends are known for their complexity, balance and ageing potential. The style and characteristics of each wine differ depending on the winemakers creative expertise on proportions of each grape used. These blends pair well with grilled red meat; roast lamb; duck; hard cheeses and mushroom-based dishes.
